Now that I am the proud owner of a new Allegro bow, I have to say "hats off", finally a bow that pulls an even tone from frog to tip. Maybe it was also up to me that this was not the case until now, but the Allegro is quite different compared to my trembling wood bow, which I will most probably neglect from now on.

Although - when I played the wood bow again recently, as a fried "took" my Allegro for a couple of days, I was surprised to find that my playing with the wooden bow has improved a lot. It appears the Arcus has some unexpected teaching skills!

Maybe it was because it taught me to play relaxed and with less pressure, which helped my bowing. Whatever I am really happy with it, to me it is a "must have".
